Welcome to the
Green Guide for Health Care Workspace
The Green Guide is continuously developing tools for sustainable healthcare through a broad range of initiatives — focused on tool development. This section of the website is the workspace for content committees and toolkit development. Only committee members can access individual project workspace, but occasionally committees will solicit input from registered users by posting links to online documents or questionnaires. Current initiatives include:
The Green Guide is launching a one-year Pilot for the 2008 Green Guide Version 2.2 Operations Section. The purpose of the v2.2 Pilot is to have participants using the credits and reporting on their experience - positive and negative - that informs the future development of the credit, assists development of templates and reporting tools, and allows us to sharpen the performance metrics. The purpose is not to review and comment on the credit text. The value of Pilot participation is to be a leader engaged in a community of practice of like-minded hospital people interested in the same work.
We are beginning development of the next generation Green Guide toolkit in 2010. For more information on strategic visioning work to date, view the Version 3.0 Visioning Report.
The work of the Green Guide is accomplished through a range of volunteer committees. If you are interested in volunteering for Green Guide tool development, watch this page for notices about new volunteer committees or submit a volunteer Expression of Interest Form.
