As the name suggests, Modern Man V3 is a supplement for men. It’s produced in capsule format and designed to be taken a couple of times each day.

Modern Man V3 is an unusual supplement. It’s a thermogenic fat burner and testosterone booster rolled into one.

V3 is the third incarnation of the product. As an updated version you would presume it’s going to be superior. However, customer reviews suggest it falls well short of the mark. In addition to having a hit-and-miss success rate, Modern Man V3 seems to be capable of causing some pretty unpleasant side effects.

Perhaps these issues will be resolved in the future if the manufacturer decides to produce a Modern Man Version 4.

According to the official website, Modern Man was designed to help keep men in “the zone” and maintain their level of mental focus on even the most hectic of days.

The site also states the benefits of enhanced testosterone levels cannot be matched and point out the hormone’s relationship with libido and improvements in muscle mass.

This is old hat. Most men know these things and there are plenty of alternative supplements that aim to do the same things.

However, the main alleged benefits the supplement provides are:

The Focus-XS Clean Energy Complex appears to be designed to boost energy and mental alertness. It provides a decent dose of caffeine and combines it with two branded ingredients. Both ingredients are stimulants that affect the body in a similar way to caffeine so Modern Man V3 is more stimulant-rich than it may initially appear to be.

The Alpha Modernization Complex consists of three popular testosterone boosters. None of the blends are specifically geared towards fat burning but some of the ingredients they contain have this ability.

Caffeine Anhydrous (150 mg)

Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. Its ability to increase energy and mental focus is no stranger to coffee drinkers or the thousands of people who use caffeine tablets to fight fatigue or promote clearer thinking.

Caffeine is also a proven fat burner that works by increasing metabolism and thermogenesis.

Coleus Forskohlii Root Extract (100 mg)

Here we go again. This is another good ingredient but the formulation does not provide enough.

Coleus Forskohlii is a herb that provides forskolin. Research shows it can boost testosterone and deliver improvements in body composition but the study participants were getting 250 mg of forskolin two times per day.

Modern Man V3 provides 100 mg of a coleus forskohlii extract that is standardized to be 10% forskolin. Do the math and you will discover Modern Man V3 is only going to provide 10 mg of forskolin two times per day. Do we really need to say more?

Eurycoma Longifolia Powder (100 mg)

Another herb that’s good for increasing testosterone and reducing stress. 

This time the dose is okay. Research shows 200 mg per day is an effective amount.

Modern Man V3 provides 100 mg twice per day, so no worries there.

Modern Man V3 Usage Guidelines & Considerations

Like its predecessors, Modern Man V3 is only for men who are over 21-years of age and in good health. The suggested dose is one capsule before breakfast and a second capsule during the early afternoon or before exercise.

Although Modern Man Nutrition fails to mention this, it would be unwise to take the supplement during the evening. Each dose provides 150 mg of caffeine, so it has the potential to interfere with sleep.

The capsule casing is made from gelatin and the product is manufactured in a facility that may also process milk, soy, eggs, nuts, fish, and shellfish.

These things make Modern Man V3 unsuitable for people who are following a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. The product will be equally unsuitable to people who are lactose intolerant or have allergies to any of the aforementioned foods.
