It’s possibly a bit extreme but TLC’s diet plan is very good. It has the potential to help a lot of people lose weight. TLC Resolution Drops is a different story. The drops contain some questionable ingredients in unknown quantities.

What are TLC Resolution Drops?
Resolution Drops is a weight management supplement distributed by TLC (Total Life Changes, LLC). It’s a direct-selling company that specializes in providing hygiene products, health and wellness supplements, and solutions for people who wish to lose weight.
TLC is a legitimate business that has successfully maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for a number of years. However, the company website could do with a revamp. It provides very little information about the products and makes it overly difficult for customers to find the online store.
TLC Resolution Drops is marketed as an appetite suppressant that supports healthy weight loss without requiring you to sacrifice your daily routine.
As with all diet drops, the alleged benefits are meant to be derived when the active ingredients are absorbed through the skin inside the mouth and enter the blood.

TLC Resolution Drops Pros & Cons
Possible Benefits – Potential Weight Loss Results
- Support for a healthy appetite
- Helps to control your cravings
- Nutrients that promote a healthy nervous system
How Do TLC Resolution Drops Work?
The drops are designed to control hunger. If they can do this effectively, they should make weight loss easier and faster by helping you to reduce the amount of food (and calories) you put into your mouth.
Usage Guidelines
The manufacturer’s website does not provide any usage guidelines. That’s a pretty poor show. If site visitors don’t know how many drops to take a day they won’t be able to work out how long a bottle of TLC Resolution Drops will last.
However, TLC Resolution Drops also appears to be available via Amazon and usage guidelines are available there. There are doubts about the legitimacy of the products for sale on Amazon, but the usage guidelines provided appear to be genuine.
The dose is 10 drops, placed under the tongue, three times per day. You need to leave the drop underneath your tongue for 15 seconds before you swallow them.
It’s also important not to eat or drink for at least 15 minutes after taking the drops.
The delay is presumably to make sure the active ingredients remain under the tongue for as long as possible. This will give them plenty of time to be absorbed through the skin.
TLC provides a free meal plan. You can download it from the site. The company stresses the importance of using it alongside the drops.
The meal plan is very restrictive, it only permits 1,200 calories per day. It would be impossible not to lose weight when you are following a diet that’s as low in calories as that.
Ingredients – What’s in the Drops?
TLC isn’t very forthcoming about its formulation of ingredients. It tells customers what the key ingredients are but does not reveal their quantities:
- Ammonium Bromatum
- Calcarea Carbonica
- Fucus Vesiculosus
- Graphites
- Thyroidinum
- Ignatia Amara
- Lycopodium Clavatum
- Avena Sativa
- Sulfuricum Acidum
The lack of a complete ingredient profile in Resolution Drops makes it impossible to judge if the doses are high enough to be beneficial. It makes it equally difficult to see if they are overly high and likely to cause side effects.
The omission of this important information further muddies the water by making it unclear if any additional active ingredients are present in the drops as well.
When we look at the formulation as a whole, we notice few of the known ingredients are diet pill regulars. If other manufactures aren’t using them much, there will probably be a good reason for that.
However, let’s take a look at the theoretical benefits (if any) the ingredients may provide if they are included in adequate doses.
Ammonium Bromatum
This is ammonium bromide (NH4Br)‒the ammonium salt of hydrobromic acid. It’s chemical-based and cannot be seen as a natural ingredient. Some sources claim ammonium bromatum is a homeopathic obesity treatment but there is a lack of science to support using it in this way.
However, reliable sources point out bromides have a long history of medicinal use and have been widely used as sedatives and anticonvulsants.
The same sources point out the dose required to be beneficial is not much lower than the dose that can have a toxic effect.
Calcarea Carbonica
Calcarea carbonica is a homeopathic medicine made from the middle layer of shells. It provides impure calcium carbonate. It’s a good inclusion in Resolution Drops
It’s unclear why TLC deems Calcarea carbonica a good diet drop ingredient.
Fucus Vesiculosus
Fucus vesiculosus is occasionally used for weight loss but most manufacturers use its common name‒bladderwrack. It’s a seaweed extract that’s rich in iodine.
The thyroid uses iodine to manufacture the hormones that regulate metabolism, so this is a valid inclusion. The lack of an inclusion rate is a particular issue here though.
Overly high doses of iodine can cause the Wolff–Chaikoff effect, which actually reduces thyroid hormone production.
Graphites
Graphites are carbon compounds that are used in homeopathic medicine. Women sometimes take graphites to lose weight after childbirth but there is no scientific proof that they work.
Thyroidinum
Thyroidinum is a thyroid extract. The form used in supplements generally comes from sheep or calves.
Although some study results suggest Thyroidinum may assist weight loss. Other data does not.
Needless to say, the presence of such an ingredient makes TLC Resolution Drops a poor choice for vegans and vegetarians.
Ignatia Amara
Ignatia amara is a species of fruit tree that’s native to the Philippines. Practitioners of homeopathic medicine sometimes use ignatia amara for treating anxiety and stress.
Lycopodium Clavatum
Also called stag’s horn clubmoss, Lycopodium clavatum is often used as a homeopathic treatment for digestive disorders. Like many of the other ingredients in TLC Resolution Drops, Lycopodium clavatum seems a poor choice for a bottle of diet drops.
Avena Sativa
Avena sativa is oats. Supplement producers use various parts of the plant including the seeds, straw, and bran. Will it provide appetite suppression or help you to lose weight? Not likely but animal research suggests it may help to reduce stress.
Sulfuricum Acidum
Sulfuricum acidum is yet another ingredient that’s popular in homeopathic medicine. Hold onto your hat though. You may get a shock when you know what it is.
Sulfuricum Acidum is sulfuric acid so the lack of inclusion rates is getting really scary.
However, when suitably diluted, sulfuric acid may have value in a number of areas including treating respiratory problems.
Is it associated with weight loss? Absolutely not. (http://homeoint.org/books/boericmm/s/sul-ac.htm)
TLC Resolution Drops: Customer Reviews
Amazon appears to be the only place to look for unbiased customer feedback. The comments posted there are a mix of good and bad.
Unfortunately, some or all of the customer feedback may actually be for counterfeit products. That being the case, we have to ignore the comments posted there (good and bad).
Here is a positive customer review
My name is Amy and before I found TLC Resolution Drops, I was just unhappy with my body. Then one day, one of my friends told me about this product she had been using to help her lose weight. She said it worked like a charm so I figured why not give it a try? After all, what did I have to lose but some extra pounds? So we ordered some online and they came in two days later! They’re really easy to use–you just do what the label says and voila! You’ll start taking off weight. It’s that simple. The best thing about them is that you can eat whatever you want as long as you follow the instructions on how much drops for your size/weight type

Here is a negative customer review
Hi, my name is Cindy and I want to share my story with you. It’s been 3 months since I started using TLC Resolution Drops and they’re not working! When I first got them, I could feel a difference in the way that my clothes fit. But after 3 months of use, nothing has changed. My appetite hasn’t decreased at all either. The only good thing about this product is that it doesn’t make me feel nauseous like other diet drops do- but if it doesn’t work what’s the point?

Known Side Effects
Some Amazon customer reviews mention side effects, including sickness and skin rashes; but are they for the genuine product? It’s entirely possible they are not.
However, some of the ingredients have the potential to cause side effects and the ingredients quantities are unknown. We advise against using TLC Resolution Drops without getting a doctor’s approval first.
Where Can You Order Resolution Drops from?
It’s probably best to buy Resolution Drops via the TLC website. Although the drops are also available via Amazon, there are often several sellers and it’s possible one or more of the listings may have been placed by people selling fake products.
Some customers who have bought Resolution Drops directly from TLC and Amazon as well claim they noticed big differences between the products.
Unfortunately, TLC does not make it easy to find the order page on its site. There are no “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” buttons on the product information page (such as it is). You need to search the site navigation menu for the option to “Shop Now.”
At the time of this review, the drops cost $59.99 per bottle. Customer comments suggest each bottle is only likely to last 20-25 days. If so, the drops are going to be quite expensive to use. More expensive than many top-rated weight loss products.
Most of the best products have a money-back guarantee. TLC Resolution Drops does not appear to have one.
TLC Resolution Drops: Review Conclusion
It’s possibly a bit extreme but TLC’s diet plan is very good. It has the potential to help a lot of people lose weight. TLC Resolution Drops is a different story. The drops contain some questionable ingredients in unknown quantities.
Even if you presume all the ingredients are included in safe amounts, and it seems likely they are, you are still left with a big problem. The drops are unlikely to do the main thing they are meant to do.
TLC Resolution Drops has one main function. It aims to suppress appetite but none of the ingredients are known to be capable of doing so.
A couple of the inclusion may benefit the mood. In theory, this may offer protection against comfort eating but that’s as good as it gets.
The formulation also contains two ingredients that may support healthy thyroid function. That gives TLC Resolution Drops potential value to anyone who has gained weight due to a lack of thyroid hormones. But zero value to people whose thyroid gland is functioning normally.
TLC Resolution Drops is a pretty expensive product and does not appear to have a guarantee. That’s the bottom line.
Our advice is to consider using the free diet plan but maybe look at something else for weight loss. The drops have mixed reviews, choose an alternative appetite suppressant product instead.
