VERDICT – NOT RECOMMENDED
There are many testosterone boosters on the market, some would say too many. Testo Boost is good supplement but not a great one in our opinion.
There are serval supplements that can boost low T levels, help raise a low libido and burn body fat while retaining lean muscle mass. TestoPrime is great example.

What Is Test Boost Max and How Does It Work?
Nobody is offering any prizes for guessing this supplement is a testosterone booster and, like a lot of similar products, Test Boost Max is only intended for men.
Testosterone is the body’s main muscle-building hormone so supplements that increase it are very popular with bodybuilders and men pursuing other athletic pursuits.
As men get older into their 40’s and 50’s their testosterone levels get lower, making it harder to gain and maintain lean muscle mass. Low testosterone causes many other problems too such as loss of libido, weight gain, and poor concentration.
Not surprisingly, men experiencing any of these issues often use testosterone boosters too.
However, the way Sculpt Nation markets its testosterone booster suggests it’s primarily trying to attract the attention of the bodybuilding crowd. The promise of increases lean muscle mass is a case in point.
Some of the ingredients in Testo Boost Max are common inclusions in supplements that aim to increase testosterone. Although there is no denying the formulation has the potential to increase testosterone production, some of the alternative options can do a lot more.
Test Boost Max is part of a line of supplements made in the USA by Sculpt Nation. The company also trades under the name VShred. Another high profile product is Burn Evolved fat burner.
Its VShred website sells a variety of weight loss and body improvement programs. The Sculpt Nation website is the company’s online supplement store.
Test Boost Benefits
- Naturally boosts testosterone and libido
- Helps you to burn body fat faster
- Provides rapid recovery after workouts
- Helps you to gain more muscle
Test Boost Max Usage Guidelines
The Sculpt Nation website fails to provide any guidance on correct dosage or mention the optimum time to take the supplement.
The label on the bottle is equally lacking in information but the supplement facts state there are three capsules per serving. There are 90 capsules in a bottle so it seems likely the requirement is three capsules, once per day.
Test Boost Max Suitability Considerations
Test Boost Max is suitable for most men but the gelatin in the capsule casing makes it an unacceptable option for vegans and vegetarians.
Some of the ingredients have the potential to interact with certain drugs so, if you are taking medication, it would be unwise to use Test Boost Max without asking your doctor first.
As with all supplements, if you have any known health issues, it’s also a wise move to seek medical approval before using Test Boost Max.

Test Boost Max Ingredient Evaluation
KSM-66
KSM-66 is a popular brand of ashwagandha extract. Many manufacturers choose it over standard extracts because it’s standardized for purity and strength.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an adaptogen herb that’s highly respected in traditional Indian medicine.
As with other adaptogens, such as ginseng, ashwagandha is good for reducing stress. This ability alone makes it a good fit for a formulation like this because stress and anxiety can lower testosterone.
However, ashwagandha also boosts testosterone. Plenty of research proves this is so.
Some studies prove its potential in several areas. For instance, the results of one study, conducted in India, show the herbs successfully boosted testosterone while also increasing male fertility.
Tribulus Herb Extract
Tribulus terrestris is a herb with a longstanding reputation as an aphrodisiac. Men have been taking advantage of its libido-boosting abilities for thousands of years.
In addition to having a “rock-hard” reputation, Tribulus terrestris also has plenty of scientific proof behind it. A good inclusion in the Test Boost Max formula.
As is the case with many of the best testosterone-boosting ingredients, some studies show the value of Tribulus terrestris in more than one area.
For the purposes of one study, researchers gave the herb to men suffering from ED. The herb not only improved the men’s erection quality and sexual performance; it also helped to raise testosterone levels as well. This is a good inclusion but many competing testosterone boosters offer a more significant dose.
Epimedium Grandiflorum Leaves
Also known as bishop’s hat, Epimedium grandiflorum is a deciduous perennial that’s a popular garden plant in the West and a valued medicinal herb in the East. It’s one of several herbs Chinese herbalists use to treat impotence.
Rat-based research suggests that, in addition to boosting testosterone, Epimedium grandiflorum also increases luteinizing hormone, and follicle-stimulating hormone, while also improving the quality of testicular tissues.
Eleuthero Root
Eleuthero is a popular Chinese adaptogen herb. It stimulates the nervous system and also reduces stress.
Eleuthero is associated with numerous health benefits but boosting testosterone is not one of them. However, it appears to go useful for increasing energy, improving cognitive function, aiding wound healing, and enhancing exercise capabilities.
Effective doses tend to range between 300-1,200 mg per day so the amount Test Boost Max provides may be a little low.
3,3′ Diindolylmethane
Diindolylmethane (3,3′ Diindolylmethane) is a compound the body manufactures from a food chemical called indole-3-carbinol. The best sources are broccoli, cauliflower, and other cruciferous vegetables.
Diindolylmethane appears to act like estrogen, but may also function as an estrogen blocker. Its value in a formulation like this is debatable. Although it may be beneficial, it also has the potential to be counterproductive.
Hawthorn Berry Extract
This a somewhat of a strange inclusion for a testosterone-boosting supplement. Sculpt Nation states it is using it to increase blood flow and points out it may support improvements in erectile dysfunction.
The statement has credibility because hawthorn encourages vasodilation. This is a relaxing of the blood vessels that expands them improving circulation. Needless to say, it will improve blood flow to the penis too.
A better supply of blood to the muscles also supports improvements in training ability but hawthorn is still an odd choice. None of the top t-boosters provide it. That’s not surprising there are many better alternatives such as maca, zinc, and Vitamin D, Sculpt Nation could be using instead.
Eurycoma Longifolia Root
Eurycoma longifolia is a tree that’s native to several Southeast Asian countries. Extracts from the roots provide potent alkaloids and flavonoids that reduce stress and appear to also increase testosterone, boost libido, and relieve ED.
In one study 90 percent of the men who took part achieved notable increases in testosterone. However, the dose was 200 mg per day. Test Boost Max only provides 20 mg per day. That’s a token gesture, not a sensible dose.
American Ginseng Root
Ginseng is a famous adaptogen herb. Most people have heard of its reputation as an aphrodisiac. However, there are several different kinds of ginseng. Panax ginseng (red ginseng/Korean ginseng) is the best. It’s a different plant.
Although American ginseng has many virtues, other than reducing stress, its presence in Test Boost Max is unlikely to add much value.
Cordyceps Mycelium Extract
A limited amount of mouse-based research suggests this mushroom extract may have potential as a testosterone booster. It’s early days yet though.
Unless future research proves otherwise, Cordyceps sinensis is a poor choice in comparison to some of the other natural testosterone boosters such as D-aspartic acid and fenugreek extract. Either one would have been a superior choice.
Potential Test Boost Max Side Effects
Sculpt Nation fails to say if any side effects have been reported.
Although most of the ingredients don’t have a reputation for causing side effects, hawthorn berries may slow blood clotting. They can also interfere with the abilities of certain drugs.
Presuming no negative issues become apparent, doses of up to 1800 mg per day are generally considered safe for up to 16 weeks. However, it may not be safe to continue using hawthorn berry for longer periods.

Test Boost Max Review Conclusion
With a name like Test Boost Max, you’d expect a high-potency supplement that provides the best natural testosterone boosters in doses that have been proven effective in human-based studies.
That’s not what you are getting here.
Although some of the ingredients, such as KSM-66 are undeniably good, many are not and the herbs are often present in overly low amounts.
Choices like American ginseng and Cordyceps mycelium are ill-conceived, to say the least. Why not Panax ginseng and Fenugreek instead? This is an oversight by Test Boost Max in our opinion.
Although the formulation as a whole may support some improvements in testosterone production, many alternative options provide better combinations of ingredients in more credible doses.
In addition to boosting testosterone, the best options also provide ingredients that prevent testosterone from binding with sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG).
Once bound with SHBG, testosterone is unable to bind with the androgen receptors in the muscles and enhance protein synthesis. A good natural testosterone booster will address this issue.
Another contributory factor that could reduce testosterone levels is cortisol.
When your body become stressed cortisol levels rise. There is some research that highlights the relationship between the stress hormone cortisol and healthy testosterone levels.
Most good testosterone supplements can bring down stress and cortisol levels.
Sorry Sculpt Nation but in our opinion there are better natural testosterone booster supplements than Test Boost Max.
